【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedtoassisttaskgroupsparticipatinginaround-robinstudywiththepreparationoftestsetsoffilmspecimensfromfilmsamplesintheformofrollsonacore.Thispracticeassumesthattheessentialfeaturesoftheround-robinprotocolhavealreadybeenestablishedbyfollowingtheguidanceofPracticeE691.Inparticular,itisassumedthatthefollowingareknown:(1)thenumberoffilmsamplestobeused,(2)thenumberofparticipatinglaboratories,(3)thenumberofreplicatetestresultstobegeneratedbyeachlaboratoryforeachsample,and(4)thenumberoftestspecimensrequiredtoyieldonetestresultforeachsample.Inaccordancewiththispractice,samplesarepartitionedintotestsetssothatrealwithin-samplevariabilitywillnotundulydistorttheconclusionsdrawnfromstatisticalanalysesofthedatageneratedintheround-robinstudy.1.1Thispracticecoversthepreparationoftestsetsofplasticfilmspecimensforsubsequentuseinaninterlaboratoryround-robinstudytoevaluatetheprecisionofatestmethod.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
